A.C.Chandrashekar Raju, popularly known as Chandru, is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur. He is a known face in the Indian construction industry. He created many world-class construction and infrastructure enterprises committed to quality, timely completion, customer satisfaction.

His establishment Balaji Engineering has undertaken and completed many Infrastructure projects across the country. A Leading Civil Engineering Contractor of Karnataka, having vast experience in the field of Civil Engineering works like., Construction of Irrigation Projects, Dams, Bridges, Canals, Aqueducts, Water and Sewage Treatment Plants, Commercial Buildings, Multistoreyed Buildings etc.

He also serves on the board of several renowned companies, educational institutions, hotels and Technology Companies like Chamundi Hotels (P) Ltd, Sree Seshachala Builders Ltd, International Institute for Sustainable Enterprise (India) , Sri Krishanadevaraya Educational Trust, Bangalore (Sir M. Visveswaraya Institute of Technology), The Universal Educational Trust, J.P. Nagar, Bangalore (Royal School). He is the Managing Trustee for Venamma Appaiahraju Charities (A Charitable Trust established to help the needy particularly for Educational and Medical requirements) and A.Chamaraju Family Trust, Bangalore. He is a Trustee in Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, Bangalore (R.V.Group of Institutions) Seshadripuram Educational Trust, Bangalore. ShekharShekar Narasimhan - Co-Founder and Chairman, Papillon Capital

Shekar Narasimhan is Co-Founder and Chairman, Papillon Capital, an investment firm focused on financing opportunities for next generation sustainable infrastructure in India and emerging Asian economies.  Shekar is also Managing Partner at Beekman Advisors which provides strategic advisory services to companies and investors involved in real estate, mortgage finance, affordable housing and related sectors as well as Director of Beekman Helix India Partners.

Prior to Beekman Advisors, ShekarNarasimhan was a Managing Director of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, one of the nation’s leading providers of commercial mortgage financing. Immediately prior to Shekar’s time at Prudential, he was Chairman & CEO of the WMF Group, a publicly traded, commercial mortgage financial services company. WMF was one of the largest such firms in the country before being acquired by Prudential in 2000.

Shekar is currently on the boards of Broadstone Net Lease, Inc., Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. and the Community Preservation Development Corp.  Shekar has served several terms on the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) Board of Directors, was the first Chair of the MBA’s Commercial/Multifamily Board of Governors, and founded its Multifamily Steering Committee. He was elected as the first Chair of the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Committee and is co-founder of the Emergent Institute in Bangalore, India.

Kartik Kumaramangalam - Co-Founder and Managing Director, Papillon Capital

Kartik Kumaramangalam is an active investor and advisor to start-ups and investment projects in Singapore, India and the US. He has previously worked at Boston Consulting Group in New York, been an early employee at WebEx (acquired by Cisco), advised the organization of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on economic policy and was a researcher on a Nobel Prize winning experiment in Astrophysics at Oxford University.

Kartik is also a Fellow at MIT and has taught and done research at MIT, London School of Economics and London Business School on the economics of intellectual property and tech driven economic growth. Kartik completed his PhD at the London School of Economics as an Interdisciplinary Scholar winning the Academy of Management Award for his research on scientific labor markets and the economics of ideas. He first trained as an an Astrophysicist specializing in solar neutrino physics as an undergraduate and graduate student at the University of Sussex and the University of Paris.

Kartik’s commitment to economic development comes from a strong background in public service in India with family members who have served as the Governor of Maharashtra, Chief Minister of Madras Presidency, Chief of the Indian Army, Cofounder of Air India (the national carrier) and Cabinet Ministers for Law, Education, Company Affairs, Power, Science, Technology, Coal and Mines.
